On Sunday Mornings, we get together, so that we can worship God and connect to Him through His Word (the Bible).  We'd love to have you come down and worship with us some time. And if you do, here's what you can expect...
 
 
A God-centered Environment... When we get together on Sunday morning, it's for the purpose of worshiping God together. We are excited to see one another for sure, and very excited to meet new people! But the big news of the day is worshiping and connecting with God. That is priority #1!
 
A Casual Environment... We want you to feel free to come as you are, when you come to worship with us. People at Longs Grove dress in many different ways when we gather together. Some come in a suit and tie or dress, while some come in jeans and a T-Shirt. There is no dress code. We're simply glad you're with us!
 
A Friendly Environment... It's very important to us that everyone who enters the doors at Longs Grove is comfortable, and feels welcome. Two things we can guarantee to those who visit us is that you'll be greeted, and that we'll be thrilled to have you with us! We want to serve you in any way we can, and do what we can to make you feel more at home. So please, don't hesitate to ask, if there is anything at all we can do to make you feel more comfortable!
 
An Open Environment... Typically, our current Sunday Morning Worship Services involve songs accompanied by piano/keyboard & guitar (as we continue to develop our worship team), prayer, and a message from God's Word. But there are many other ways in which we worship. And we want you to feel free to worship God as you feel led. We also occasionally have music with other instruments, as we have them available, as well as skits and dramas, and use of multimedia. We are very open to many different expressions of worship.
 
 
A typical Sunday at Longs Grove involves...
  • Opening announcements & prayer.
  • A time to greet each other, just to say that we're glad you're here!
  • Time devoted to singing praise songs to God.
  • A time of giving offerings back to the Lord as an expression of our thankfulness to Him.
  • Time devoted to prayer.
  • Time for skits or multi-media illustrations.
  • A message from God's Word.
